The Grove Park Foundation – Partnerships for Equity

A partnership is taking root in the Grove Park neighborhood of Atlanta to create equity and good health for the community and its residents. Beginning in 2015 through dialogue with Grove Park residents, the Grove Park Foundation has been working with partners like the Atlanta Public Schools, KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, Columbia Residential, and others to bring holistic transformation to a part of the city that has suffered disproportionately from disinvestment for far too long.

Following the Purpose Built Communities model, the Grove Park Foundation and its partners are making investments in a cradle-to-college and career education pipeline, health and wellness facilities and services, and mixed income housing to create permanent, durable channels out of poverty.
