ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Investing in the economic footprint of our historic neighborhood

A Community Vision for Economic Renewal

Once a vibrant hub for families and businesses, Grove Park has endured decades of disinvestment and population decline. Today, many commercial nodes lack essential services and opportunities for business growth. The Grove Park community worked together to create an economic mobility plan in 2023 that guides Grove Park Foundation’s strategic investments to revitalize the commercial core of this historic West Atlanta neighborhood—bringing back vital amenities, supporting small business growth, and building pathways to shared economic prosperity.

Our Strategy

Building a thriving neighborhood with a pipeline of catalytic economic development projects focused on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway so that Grove Park is a strong and supportive community that ensures inclusive and representative growth for its families.
