Construction on Woodson Park Academy Set to Begin

The Grove Park Foundation is excited to announce that the construction of the new Woodson Park Academy campus begins in May. This project is in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, and KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, and is being built by Carroll Daniel Construction. The site includes the former Carter G. Woodson Elementary School site on Francis Place, as well as adjacent property along Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. The construction site will be secured, surrounded by fencing with a dust screen. There will also be construction vehicles moving on site. Expected completion of the project is by fall 2020.
